About This Item

In 1992 I went to Cambodia working with UNTAC (the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia). Life there was certainly interesting, with local factions still having the occasional firefight.

Life was made easier by discovering the excellent local brew, Angkor Beer. Of which many were downed over the road from our stay at the Green Hotel near the Independence Monument.

This keyring has been floating around home ever since, and it is time it went on a journey back to it's homeland. Photos of beers it finds on the way are welcome, and when (if) it reaches Cambodia a photo by the Independence Monument would be fantastic.

Got from this nice spot to move on. I actually was planning to visit the cache at Angkor Wat later in the year- might have to see if I can hold onto it but will let the owner know if this may be the case.
