On August 18, 2018 I found my 1000th geocache.
I started caching in 2003 and in 2009 I took a break from caching. In 2018 I came back to caching and boy has things changed! Nano caches, tiny plastic DNA tubes, bison containers, light pole caches in almost every urban parking lot, and hardly any ammo can caches in the woods anymore. But every once in a while I find a good "old=school" type cache and it makes me smile and fondly remember the good old days. Never thought I'd hit 1000, but now I'm gunning for the next 1000 in the next year!
This coin will go with me to events to meet new cachers and old caching friends as well. If you didn't get this number from me personally, please do not log it as discovered.
