To head to other places where marathons are run, especially Boston because I’ll never be able to run a marathon fast enough to get a place in that marathon.
Version #1 was stolen from a TB Motel near Myrinong, Bictoria, Australia. I've actually been to that cache and it takes commitment to visit so why bother goin just to steal the trackables. It had travelled 48109.3km.

Loving the Pintxos in San Sebastián. Yum yum yum. We had them for dinner, we had them for lunch, and we’ll be having them for dinner again. Climbed the arduous Mt Urgull for the great view of the golden coast and then headed to this Geocaching event. The host and friends are off hiking in the Pyrenees for a week. Super jealous. 🍢

Marathon done! Lots of wine was consumed, oysters eaten, and even had time for a visit to the free beer tent after the race. There were some amazing costumes, I’m not sure how people manage to run so far in some eye-catching numbers. Followed it up the next day with an 11km wine tasting walk followed by celebratory lunch, more wine, and dancing. Loved it all. Sante!🍷🍷🍷🍷

You’ve arrived in Bordeaux and are helping me prepare for the Marathon du Medoc tomorrow. It’s a marathon with over 20 wine tasting stops, oysters, steak, ice creams, cakes, bands, and dancing and it all has to be done in fancy dress. This year’s theme is Super Heroes. I’m going as Wonder Woman. I wonder if anyone else will have that idea...? You have to finish in 6.5hrs but the aim is not to finish too quickly or you won’t fully enjoy the day. 🦸🏼♀️

Stopped at Les Eyzies after a visit to the Lascaux cave facsimile. Not sure about not seeing the real thing although I understand the reasons why. Nice to have a walk up the hill above Les Eyzies. It was all downhill from there. 😢

You are staying near the medieval town of Sarlat-la-Canéda and it’s market day there today. Lots of wine, cassoulet, foie gras, cheese, confit Duck, and saucissons. Took some time away from the epicurean delights to look for caches but they are all small ones. 🦆
