About This Item

This Garfield toy was part of a prize package of books, posters, and games that 8 year old Jacob won for writing the best book reports in his 2nd grade class for school year 2003-2004. Jacob is an avid reader, and hopes his travel bug meets other avid readers. Please post notes about Jacob's Garfield along the way. Remember if you take a picture of him to hide his ID numbers.

Wow! I was expecting that Garfield had been off to see the world. Instead he spent the winter buried under snow in New Hamsphire. Don't mind if he's a bit crankier than usual after that long haul. He made me promise not to take him back to Quechee, VT, to the gorge and since I'd just done the two new ones there recently, I did.

He might even go someplace tomorrow! Happy caching, Garfield.

Decided to give poor Garfield a lift away from the river (i know how cats feel about water 👎).. Introduced him to a new dog, Cooper (I hope Odee doesn't mind).

Maybe off to a warmer climate?

Garfield's going to meet Montgomery, who lives here in Lebanon, and read a few books until we head out again for the next cache. Hunting season is upon us so we have to figure out the safer caches.

Couldn't resist this little cutie and since i am currently reading The Climb by Anatoli Boukreev (about his Mount Everest adventure), I thought this little adventurous fellow at the top of Owl's Head might like to read along before moving on to another adventure.
