About This Item

Geocaching.jpg

Don't be fooled by the sharp teeth and the fierce gaze....this guy's favorite thing is giving hugs and hanging around. He's a real ham when put in the spotlight and loves to play "tourist" when he travels. He's always willing to pose for a mug shot, wherever he might be at the time. He's hoping to bring a lot of memories home with him after his visit.

Sorry for keeping this bug for so long, but I had plans to introduce him to his Carolina relitives. I got the chance to do that today. I got some pics of his reunion. I plan to release him tomorrow with his new buddy Carolina Gator.

I'm going to see if I can introduce him to some of his cousins in North or South Carolina before sending him on to meet his relatives farther south.

Geo-Gator was only visited with us for a short time but really had fun. We picked up the TB in Hilton Head, and took it home to North Carolina, not many gators there so we headed south again... Over 1000 miles logged in the car and it turns out to be only a 56 mile hop from Hilton Head to Georgia... but at least its in the right direction.

Saved Geo-Gator from the real thing in the "Gator Hole" cache. Didn't see any of the real ones althought there were some strange markings on the ground that could have been from a larger animal siding in and out... This Pinch baby made right for my shirt and hugged there all the way back to the car :) Will take some pictures and move along the way...

We think this is an excellent movement for GeoGator in his quest to get to FLA! We were very happy to bring him along for the trip to Hilton Head Island and place him near to his cousins in SC and much, much closer than New England to his family!

This was a fun TB for us as we enjoy helping TB's on their way to locations when they're far, far away!

Thanks for the TB

Picking him up for a journey to Hilton Head Island, SC in 2 weeks. He'll be closer to his destination and there's plenty of cousins on this island!

Cache 0860 – SR24/I495 Bug Hotel

12/22/2005

I stopped by the SR 24/I-495 Bug Hotel to swap the travelers. The trail is really icy in most spots, and the cache is in good shape. I took “Duke” & “Bird Watcher” TBs, left a Geo-coin & “Geo-Gator” TB, calling card #860 & SL. Thanks ETinaSkeeter & Ross for the cache.
