Hodi z mano okrog po svetu (večinoma) / Follows me around the world (mostly)
Geolovec sem od leta 2011, ko mi je po nizu (ne)srečnih naključij prišla v posest Garminova Dakota 20. Redko grem od doma brez GPS naprave, rad imam zaklade z zahtevnejšim iskanjem, obožujem sledljivčke in se v mednarodnih stikih, ki jih odpira geolov, počutim kot riba v vodi. V prostem času (prostem geolova ;-)) sem tudi predsednik Slovenskega Geocaching kluba in član skupine, ki prevaja spletišče geocaching.com.
Všeč mi je retro dizajn tega kovanca, ki spominja na začetke igre. Takrat je izvirnik tudi nastal. Ob dvasetletnici igre so ga, malenkost prirejenega, spet oživili v omejeni izdaji. Kot obesek za ključe ga imam vedno s sabo.
I'm a geocacher since 2011, when Garmin Dakota 20 came into my posession after a series of (un)fortunate events. I rarely leave home without a GPS device, I like geocaches that are challenging to search, I adore trackables and love the international social aspect of the game. In my free time (free of geocaching ;-)) I am also the president of the Slovenian Geocaching Cluband a volunteer translator of the geocaching.com website and official mobile applications.
I love this retro design that reminds us of the beginnings of this great game. That's when the first edition was minted. For 20th anniversary, it was slightly modified and revived in a limited edition. It fits nicely on my keychain, so it's almost always with me.
