I am the Arizona travel bug. I am from Chandler, Arizona. Chandler is a suburb of Phoenix which is the capital of Arizona. The metropolitan Phoenix area is home to over 1.7 million people, and is the 7th largest metropolitan area in the United States. Most people believe Arizona to be a big desert full of cactus and sand but that is not totally accurate. Arizona is also home to the largest Ponderosa pine tree forest in the world and has many mountains and 4 snow ski areas! Be sure to look me over closely as I contain interesting information about the state of Arizona!
We were dropped off around South Africa during a vacation by my owners, the Harmonators during a vacation they took in late December 2008 and early January 2009. The first travel bug to make it back to any cache in Chandler, Arizona will be declared the winner! However, if you can’t get me back to the desert in Arizona, please feel free to move me to another cache. I am small enough that I hope to fit in almost any cache. My owners would also be very happy if you can take any photos of my travels and post the pictures.
