Gismos1 will be glad to get out of here! Sorry it's not quite by a canal - but if the mist ever rises, 'he'll' be able to see Dublin, the river Liffey, the Grand Canal and the Irish Sea.

Despite a fear of heights, I rescued Gismos1 and brought him (?) secretly to Ireland. I'll try and find a nice canal for him - but he might have to make do with a river (or even the Atlantic Ocean). I just hope he can swim... Slán libh go fóill.

Was going to put Gismos somewhere along the Thames, which isn't really a canal, but ended up placing him overlooking the Solent and the English Channel. Clearly I have a problem with scales. Though if you can't spell I guess English Chanal could appear as the quintiscential english canal!
Happy travels.

OK I know it is not a canal cache however in my defense I have moved it closer to the Basingstoke Canal. There are some caches along it but unfortunately I have already done them so hopefully somebody else will move him to one of the caches along the canal.

thanks

Chris

Well this chap has been around for quite a while and I'm delighted to see he has risen from the dead!!!

I'll try to fulfil his desires to be near a canal as he's been on a limestone pavement for the past few days.
