Share a wildlife encounter you are having as you wander with this TB...or...relate a favorite wildlife encounter you have experienced. For example: Many years ago I was riding my bike along a rural dirt road and saw a fox up ahead. I sotpped then walked my bicycle on one side of the road, while the fox walked on the other side. It hopped on top of a large bouder and curled up with it's fluffy tail over its nose as I looked at it from the other side of the road. Then it continued, and so did I. When a car went by, it ran across the street and sat behind a tree, about 20 feet from the road. After the car passed, it cam out and sat down looking at me. I was talking to it in the voice on uses to talk to babies....inflecting up at the end of a phrase. Eventually a truckload of rowdy young males drove by, whooping it up and the fox ran away and did not come back.

The Powder House was pretty cool to check out, I really liked this marker that was nearby. Found CC quickly, everything was soaked inside including the log. Left a small notebook as a replacement, unfortunately I didn’t have a ziplock on me that fit so left it in there as is. If someone could bring a bag for the log that would be great! Signed new log & replaced, TFTC #571
