After checking out of our hotel, we knew we had a way to go, but before saying goodbye to PD, we decided to do just a bit of urbexing. Not in the traditional sense, just in a bit of a theoretical sense. We tried to walk to this stash, but the tall grass and uncertain paths were discouraged by locals saying many snakes reside in the tall grass. We therefor ended up driving here, and after navigating the bumpy road, it was soon clear that a walk to this location would be quite the challenge in the blazing sun. Parking in the middle of nowhere, we looked around and started to explore the abandoned buildings, some of which were still recently used, as seen by boards and loose equipment. Laura however soon found the stash; we had no idea what the recent photo was about, however her instincts brought us to the stash. After signing the logbook, we walked to the pier, happy to learn about its historic importance but sad to see it so utterly closed and inaccessible. I’m sure this could have been a cool stroll. This was a nice stop before departing PD!

What to do in a town of few caches and a historic railway relic, which isn’t there anymore? Well of course, you go and visit the remains of said relic! This stash brought us to some of the old railroad remnants, and we found the little stash without issue. Glad for another stop!

The last geocache we found yesterday was quite new in that we were the second to find it. After that, we went home and slept in a sketchy new hotel room.

We were too tired to head out, and made our plan to visit all the local caches today in the morning. We started off with this archived cache, which we unfortunately didn't manage to find at GZ.

Today we headed out, saying goodbye to Malacca and heading towards Port Dickson. We naturally had several stops along the way, and as I’m still between holiday mode and getting ready for a rough start of work, I have to save a bit of time and rush through TB logs. Unfortunately, that means I haven’t written individual logs for every cache we’ve visited although I usually do that. Please; scroll back to December 31st and before, to read all the lovely stories of the caches this TB has visited!
