This travel bug was released close to the day of the Day of the Dead (November 2nd). The Travel Bug would like to visit as many cemeteries as it can. Pictures would be awesome.
Please do not take the travel bug, if you are not able to move it on, but if you are able to discover it that would be great as well.
I am not meant to be kept and please do not keep me too long!
This travel bug has an attachment called a Sugar Skull and is associated with el Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead, which is celebrated in Mexico.
Although related to the simultaneous Christian remembrances for Hallowtide, it has a much less solemn tone and is portrayed as a holiday of joyful celebration rather than mourning.
Some argue that there are Indigenous Mexican or ancient Aztec influences that account for the custom, and it has become a way to remember those forebears of Mexican culture.
