Laura and I have hoped not to run into any creepy crawlers while on our Spring break 2024 in Australia, but we did. On the occasion of visiting this new continent, we decided to buy and release two TBs, which encapsulate our phobias and the possibly dangerous nature of this country. We hope these two will be traveling for a while around the continent (or region), and document some similar stories of other geocachers.
Laura's nope rope and Tommy's hairy legs are a snake and spider TB released in April 2024. We hope for these two TBs to travel the continent and gather stories and photos of the wildlife encounters (fun or scary) which this country has to offer. Hopefully, none too scary!
We hope to see many photos of the TBs' travels, and hope the two TBs can race against each other to see who travels further. Tommy's Hairy legs was dropped off first at the countries' first robotic book retrieval library, while Laura's Nope Rope stayed with us for 2603.4km until April 16th, when it was left at the old Gippy TB hotel. Monday was a busy day for us, we had some car troubles yesterday and today started off by exchanging our car rental. After that, this was the first stash we stopped at; a quick park and grab along our drive.

As the last stop of the day, Laura and I took this TB to the Mark Radium Park, where we were able to find the stash quickly while parking near the curb. This is our last find of the day; from here it’s on to the hotel for a bit of rest. What a busy day for this TB!

After a while in the car and the pleasure of visiting Australia's oldest geocache, we drove a bit to the first ever robotic library in Australia. Such a cool streak of firsts! We decided it was time to part with a TB we activated for this trip, but kept you with us so we can keep going. Let's see how far we can travel today!
