To boldly go where all Geocachers go. I have heard from Alex & the BAJA Clan, and while he would like it to go to as many bases as possible, I also would like it to travel on it's own to anywhere they might be transferred to, and back to the St. Louis area in between. Of course it should also see as many caches and cachers as it can. I'll let the BAJA Clan post notes on their location, as of now they have it near St. Louis.
FORWARD CACHE!!!!
This is named for Alex from the BAJA Clan, who collects all of my army men I place in caches. It is being released today at the SLAGA Fall Picnic.

This TB green army man was dropped today in the Plethora 1 cache in Fox Park, Potterville, Michigan. The last time this cache was found was over a month ago, it is in the woods and difficult because of thaw then freeze and with wet snow and partially frozen puddles and a small stream it took us a while to find it. He is in a baggie with a note that he wants to go to St. Louis, MO. I hope the next finder will remove the note so he can change direction to go to VA.

BAJA Clan has relocated to the Northern VA area between Ft. Belvoir and Quantico. We would love to see Alex BAJA Bug again if he heads this way.
In the meantime, is it possible for Gramo3 to post a note/drop/retrieve Alex BAJA TB in the German cache they didn't complete? It would be nice for the TB to log the miles and they did find several stages of the cache. We are familiar with Bitburg/Spang as we were stationed in the Bonn/Koln (Cologne) area for several years.

The Alex Slaga Baja bug has returned to Michigan after a whirlwind tour of southern Germany! He spent 3 days in the German Alps and the rest of the time at Bitburg and Spangdalem Air Force Base. He visited a cache- The Ace of (Air) Base- at the now closed Bitburg Airport and it turned out to be a 6 part cache and lack of time combined with a not good translation of the German descriptions caused us to never find the last part but we walked around a interesting old hanger from post WWII and drove around the area for awhile.
He will be with me until Feb. 2 when he will be placed in a cache somewhere south of Lansing, to continue to find his way home.
