Current Goal

My mission is simply to visit all the capitals of every province in Canada - and also to visit as many of the capitals of the world as possible. I am a Canadian Nickel that has been carved out by hand. I would love to have my picture taken with any foreign currencies as well!

About This Item

We bought this Nickel from a very interesting, fun man while in Victoria. He had a booth on the waterfront, and carved out coins to sell. All his coins were hand carved, and displayed amazing detail, precision and patience! When we mentioned that we were turning this one into a TB, he was very interested - so we will keep him updated on this TB's travels...

From his card: "WORLD COIN ART" Coin piercing magic by Kenneth Gordon France. Custom Orders Box 8078, Victoria B.C, Canada V8W 3R7. Apparently he will carve any coin - so you can send them to him. But he has no email, no phone - only snail mail! We aren't affiliated with him at all, but thought we'd put his contact info if anyone had a coin they wanted carved. Never seen this before - very, very neat!

    Wow! Pretty incredible to find a TB that's been travelling since 2007. I kind of figured it was an old one when I looked at the tracking code. Don't think I'll be heading to the capital of anything in the next while, but I will move it along to give it some more kms.

    Whenever I travel I always make sure I keep atleast one piece of their currency. I also like to keep foreign currency if I'm lucky enough to find some here. Either way I here's some pics of this cool trackable with some of my collection. There's currency from Australia, Greece, England, Jordan, Italy, Jamaica, Netherlands, Japan, New Zealand, Cuba, Egypt, Tonga, France and a few others that I'm not sure where they are from.
