"We've got an awesome adventure in store for us!", I exclaimed enthusiastically to Greg and his trusty sidekick, WonderDog Duncan. "We have stumbled upon a rare opportunity to find it...the 'Jeep Travel Bug'". "Our special forces just gave word that it was nearing our coordinates!"
Its last sightings were "near the beach". We quickly gathered our GPS unit, plugged in the last known coordinates and we sped off to find the little guy. The trek led us into the winding mountains with breathtaking views of God's great creation! Then suddenly, our hearts began to pound as our GPS sounded that we were approaching the destination of the jeeps last coordinates. Was it still there? Has our mission been compromised? We had to be discrete and cool about our mission...others may be watching! Just when we thought the "bug" had moved on, we decided to try it just one more time with our scout "Gregory" and his faithful furry companion "Duncan" tracking ahead of me.....then voila!...there he was nestled amoungst the ivy (poison ivy might I add). He did a great job hiding from us, but not good enough! The adventure started with our hearts pounding with anxiety and ended with a hearty "Yes!...we came,we sought and we conquered!" Duncan was at his best with his proud chest arched upward... envisioning himself in his own jeep adventure as the wind blew past his muzzle and his eyes squinted in his adventure bliss.
