Before Visiting this cache, we took this picture not too far from here!! It is with the mascot for Kansas State University, the Wildcat, where our Granddaughter attends and is a member of the Pride of Wildcat Land Marching Band's dance amd pom team, The Classy Cats!!
The university has a long history with the wildcat mascot, with the "Wildcats" nickname dating back to 1915!! It comes alive during KSU events throughout the year in the form of Willie the Wildcat which has evolved in appearance over the years. And The Classy Cats have been National Champions for 4 years in a row!!
