KJKlock's Silver Traveling Space Shuttle Geocoin

To visit NASA Headquarters and each of the 10 NASA Centers in the US and have my picture taken at each of the locations. (Post a picture of this Space Shuttle geocoin in front of a sign showing the name of that NASA Center. Additional pictures are of course welcomed and encouraged also!)

I am a US Army Space Ops Officer, and as part of my current job, I travel to Kennedy Space Center, FL every time the Space Shuttle is scheduled to land. This is a great assignment for so many reasons, but one of the best perks is that I get to visit the only brick and mortar geocoin store in the world (in Merritt Island, FL) on a regular basis. When the owners of the store (Dale n Barb) told me that they were planning to create a Space Shuttle geocoin in remembrance of Challenger (STS-51L) and Columbia (STS-107), I immediately told them that I would need to buy several copies of them once they were produced. Several months later, while I was in town for the re-entry of Discovery (STS-131), I ended up buying 3 for our collection, 4 to send to a couple of my fellow geocaching Space Ops Officer friends, and 1 extra silver one to release to travel from cache to cache.

These Space Shuttle geocoins are, by far, the coolest trackable items that I have ever seen; they are more like trackable scale models than geocoins. One of the best features of these coins is that the tracking number is located under the hinged cargo bay door!
