About This Item

Možná jste i vy potomci Čingischána smiley

EN:

Genghis Khan (birth name Temüjin) is known for unifying Mongolian tribes, was first Great khan of the Mongols and one of the World’s most famous commanders and conquerors. He was born around the year 1162 and died on the 18th of August 1227. In 1211 he commenced a massive military expansion, which in effect meant the conquest of China, Central Asia, Persia and other territories.

Apart from being the greatest warrior, he also deserves a title of the Greatest lover of all times.

Given that Genghis Khan has in his DNA a particular mutated sequence, it is possible to reliably track his offsprings. In a study published in 2003 in National Geographic magazine, it was stated, that it is possible that there is around 16 million people in the World who carry Genghis Khan’s genes. That would be possible only if he fathered at least one thousand offsprings. With regards to the amount of his lovers and his long life (he died when he was 65 years old) it really is not impossible.

16 million really is a great number, it comes to 1 man in 200. Why only men? The specific gene in chromosome Y, can be transferred only from father to son.

Maybe even you are an offspring of Genghis Khan. smiley
