The end of the trail!
Le fin de la randonnée !
New Caledonia is a wonderful country for hiking. The tourism board has done a wonderful job of establishing and maintaining a lengthy set of lengthy hikes that they call "GR1". The entire trail is divided into seven stages - starting at Prony and ending at the dam in Dumbea. My daughter and I hiked the length of GR1 over several months. This cache marks the end of the trail and we placed one cache at each stage along the way. Here are the other caches:

Nouvelle-Calédonie est un pays merveilleux pour la randonnée. L'office du tourisme a fait un excellent travail de mise en place et le maintien d'une longue série de longues randonnées qu'ils appellent «GR1» . L'ensemble du parcours est divisé en sept étapes - à partir de Prony et se terminant au barrage à Dumbéa. Ma fille et moi parcouru la longueur du GR1 sur plusieurs mois. Ce cache marque la fin de la piste et nous avons placé un cache à chaque étape le long du chemin. Voici les autres caches:
