We have the campsite from Friday Night to Sunday night. So anyone that wishes to stay can stay here. Unless it gets too crowded. I doubt that, but just in case. I cannot guaruntee my overnight stay. I want to, but if I am alone without a family I will drive down in the morning.
Feel free to gather anytime during the day.
I will be cooking for a Noon lunch. we will chat eat and go for a hike to see the old cache.
So officially the event is from 12-1 but realistically I expect anytime from 10-4.
I will be doing dutch oven, again. I plan to bring a few things to help in the cold weather. Last years lots of wind and rain made cooking slow. Please bring a side dish if you wish to eat. I usually ask for 4ish dollars for adults and 2ish for kids. However those that know me realize that I let anyone eat, and I do the honor system for paying. If you are hungry and did not tell me ahead of time eat. I just ask that you log ahead and tell me how many intend to eat. Bring a side, or a main course, or a snack. Plan is my usual, with a cobbler in the side. Pray for less wind and rain than last year.
I plan to walk up and visit the cache site this year.
If you plan to stay let us know your campsite. The campsite we are at is #15. If my map is correct that is the closest to the cache site without having horses. (closer campsites to GC3B are for horses)
I am planning to do a bigger event next year for the 15th anniversary of Potters. If there is interest. It would most likely be earlier (Aug-Sept) to be warmer.
