Oberon orbits Uranus the 7th planet from the Sun. Uranus is a considered a gas planet but really is an ice giant, comprised mostly of frozen water, ammonia and methane. Uranus also has rings like Saturn, but much smaller.

Oberon is a small moon , less than half the size of Earth’s moon, it orbits about 40 inches from a 3.5 inch in diameter Uranus and is just a spec, at a tenth of an inch across.

To locate Oberon make the following adjustments to Uranus’ decimal minutes
Subtract 00.011 from the North
Subtract 00.010 from the West
