This is a very busy location so you'll need great stealth - you
have been warned!
Park at N 54° 50.444 W 004° 15.443 which is a public car park
maintained by the nearby Mossyard Caravan Park proprietors.
Interestingly the Fleet Bay Inshore Rescue Boat operates from
Mossyard Farm and is crewed by members of the McConchie family who
own the camp site. The Rescue Boat is funded by charitable
contributions and is operated voluntarily during the summer months
outwith the RNLI but under the direction of HM Coastguard.
When I placed this cache I noted with great interest, like many
geocachers I suggest, that you can now partake in a number of
outdoor activities nearby including clay pigeon shooting, archery,
mountain boarding and mountain balling - having seen these great
clear spheres tumbling down the hillside, I might give this a miss,
but it looks to be great fun! Visit Laggan
Outdoor website for full details.
You are looking for a small blue topped contained slightly
bigger than a 35mm canister. Please bring a pen or pencil to log
your visit as this is not provided. Also, because of the location,
please take care to return it exactly as it was found - many
thanks.
