Geocache Description:

The GGA February meeting will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2004 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. This is Valentines Day, but we will keep our second Saturday Meeting schedule as usual. The meeting will start promptly at 2:00 PM so we can be done by 4:00 PM.

Our February 2004 meeting will revisit a topic that we have discussed at a past meeting -- paperless geocaching! By using a PDA devise, geocachers can download and store hundreds of cache pages. That makes the full descriptions, hints and even the last five logs available to you with a touch of the PDA screen.

There have been several changes since we had our last presentation and there are GGA cachers that are interested in what it takes to go geocaching with a PDA instead of regular cache paper print outs. We will demonstrate the different types of programs that are available. PDA's are becoming more affordable so this meeting may encourage you to go get one for yourself.
