    FIRSTIES!

2nd Try. The birds were no better today than they were last night. However this time I was on the correct side of the fence.

After looking for about an hour, I was about to give up and leave. Then K7Wave showed up. We searched all over comparing ideas. I finally found it by accident, which is just as good as finding it on purpose.

Signed the log. At the time we found it, the GPSr reading said it was 4 feet away. Of course it said the same thing about that other location 100 feet north

    6/30/03

And I bet your dog is named Mutley!
A truly Evil Hide, Mr. Dastardly !

Like everyone else, I didn't find it. I suspect I was on the wrong side of the chain link fence. One moment my GPSr would tell me I was within 10 feet, the next it said 100 and I hadn't moved an inch.

One thing that confused me is that when my GPSr told me I was close, I would find a piece of old abandoned tupperware or a plastic milk carton under some bushes. This happened several times, but unless the cache contests are just dirt...

I'll try to come back when the Birds a being a bit more agreeable.

    My 50th Find!

We were in town for the Eagles Youth Convention and State Drill Team competition. (My youngest daughters teams got 1st and the middle daughters team got 2nd place! Yay!).

I wish we had time to find a few more, but only had time to do this one. We'll have to come back because there are lots of fine caches on the island and in the Deception pass area.

    Took Playdoh, left WheresGeorge Dollar

    Found this one fairly easily.

The park ranger saw me with a clipboard and asked if I was geocaching. He then looked at my sheets for the two caches in the park. Apparently he didn't know about this one, only the other one. After verifying that I had paid my $5 day use fee (I had), he left me to my search.

Took Railroad Crossing Keychain, Left Mini-Jeepni Travel Bug, a Keychain flashlight, and a Wheresgeorge Dollar.

Fairly easy to find, right off the trail. Unfortunatly I parked in the wrong spot and had to climb down and up stairs of a fairly deep canyon. Thats ok.... it's good for me!

The Log book is FULL. No room at all to log a find. The owner or someone reading this needs to bring one along to leave in the cache.

As others have mentioned, there is something really sticky inside the cache. I don't know why because otherwise the cache is in good shape.

Took Nothing, left Keychain Flashlight and a Wheresgeorge Dollar
