Geocache Description:

April 14 is National "Cache In - Trash Out" (CITO) Day!

We hope to have at least seven CITO's scheduled
that day in South Carolina.

The SCGA Aiken Region will host a CITO at
A.L. Brodie Park in Perry, SC from 1-3 PM..

A.L. Brodie Park is located on Roberts Street off of Highway 39 in Perry, South Carolina. Facilities include a ballfield, a tennis court, a basketball court, playground, and a covered picnic shelter. The park is not well marked with a sign, but if you are heading down Roberts and see a cemetery on the left, the park is on the right when the road starts to curve.

We would like to thank Brian A. Sanders, Director of the Aiken County Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department. He has been a great help in getting caching to be allowed in some Aiken County parks again after the H3777 legislation was quashed and in allowing us to CITO any of 23 parks over which he has jurisdiction.

This CITO has been scheduled (coincidence?) just a little bit after and only 18 miles from the SCGA Midlands GeoHolics CITO in Peachtree Rock Preserve 8 miles SSW of the Columbia Airport.

For those of you with other scheduled obligations that day, please note that you are more then welcome to come and go as you please. These will be fun events to meet fellow Cachers from all over the state.

Trash bags, gloves, and drinking water will be provided.
