Eine kleine Serie von vier Tradis und
einem Bonus, die dir die Gemeinde Malters etwas näher
bringen.
A small series of four
traditional and one bonus cache, meant to show you the community of
Malters.
Zur Entstehung des Wappens von
Malters:
Es bestand
ursprünglich aus einem grünen Laubbaum (später: grüne Tanne), der
mit den Wurzeln auf einem grünen Sechsberg stand, ein Eichhörnchen
in den Ästen aufwies und einen weissen Hintergrund hatte. Dieses
Wappen symbolisierte den Gerichtsbaum. Es wurde für die im 15.
Jahrhundert entstandene Landvogtei Malters oder das Amt Malters
verwendet, zu dem auch Littau und Schwarzenberg gehörten.
Aus früherer Zeit stammt das Familienwappen der Herren von Malters,
das zum Wappen des Dinghofes Malters wurde und ab 1300 mehrfach auf
historischen Siegeln oder Abbildungen zu sehen ist. 1946 wurde
dieses Emblem (weisses Andreaskreuz auf blauem Grund mit je einem
sechsstrahligen gelben Stern in Haupt und Fuss) zum Gemeindewappen
erklärt.

The
history of the coat of arms from
Malters:
It originally showed a green broadleaf tree
(later: green fir tree) with its roots standing on a six hilled
mountain, in the branches sitting a squirrel, and a white
background. This coat of arms symbolized the court tree. It has
been used for the bailiwick of Malters, founded in the 15th century
or the township of Malters including Littau and
Schwarzenberg.
Based in ancient times is the family crest of the noblemen from
Malters that has become the coat of arms for the estate of Malters.
Since 1300 it appears on historical seals or illustrations. 1946
this emblem (a white St. Andrew's cross on a blue background and
with a yellow six beamed star in the top and at the bottom) has
become the official coat of arms of Malters.
