5th Annual WSGA Winter Party Event Cache

We would like to do it again in 2010 - honor and thank those who placed new hides during the year. The WSGA IE Chapter will be holding an Oscar themed award show during the event where winners will be chosen from those caches nominated in several exciting categories! That's right, we said exciting!

To do this correctly requires audience participation.  Please flood the inbox!

With all the great new hides out there, your help is needed to build the list of nominees. Simply send an email to newcachenominate10@gmail.com with the GC Number, Cache Name, Owner Name (that order please) of caches you want to nominate in the following Oscar themed categories:

The winners of each category will be a random drawing of all the nominations from that category. The Best Picture (Cache Hide) will be a random drawing from all of the non-winners of the rest of the categories. There will be prizes for the winners of course. Must be present to win.

The cache must be placed in 2010. Caches placed in 2010 and have been archived are also eligible for nomination. You cannot nominate your own caches. The same cache can be nominated in multiple categories. A micro can’t be nominated for Best Cachetor (Regular) but it could also be Best Documentary and/or Best Director if it is a multi-stop earth cache.

Special Note:  Please include the GC Number, Cache Name, and Owner (in that order please) for each cache nominated.  There is no weight given for the number of times a cache is nominated so if you see your fav is already on our list there is no need to include it on yours.  Wow, is it just me or is the Nomination Board exceptionally grumpy this year?

Let's get those nominations in.  The nomination process ends at 12:01 A.M. February 26, 2011.  You can submit multiple times (different caches of course) until then.  Thanks!
