Welcome to the Medina Count Parks "Paths to Pollinators" series. The Letha House East portion of your adventure starts in the parking lot located at 5745 Richman Road, Spencer, OH 44275. An approximate ½ mile round-trip hike will be required to complete this leg of the journey. This is a field puzzle which contains a multiple-choice question to answer at the posted coordinates. Depending on the answer you choose, there will be further instructions to lead you to the final location. Follow the directions below or use your GPS to get you to the first stage. Answer the question inside the container and follow the directions to find the final container where you will collect your Passport code word for a prize, a clue to a Bonus Cache and sign the log book.
Follow the Pawpaw Grove Trail south, into the woods. When you arrive at the picnic tables choose the path to your left.
Descend the stairs and when you step across the very last railroad tie begin to count your steps. At 150 steps you will find a bench. (HINT: I’m short, my steps are small). Sit and enjoy the sounds of the creek and the pretty views of nature.
Notice the big Sycamore tree to your right. Take a peek behind it and you will find a multiple-choice question tucked away in a container. If you answer correctly it will lead you to the final location where you will find the logbook and the code word. If you answer incorrectly you will find a decoy container.

If you choose answer A follow these directions:

This location is not far at all……hmmmm……..would I be so kind to hide it close by OR would I want you to venture a little farther down the trail? Well, you already know I’m short and short people are usually nice so maybe this IS the correct answer. There is only one way to find out!
Head back down the trail from the direction you came (back toward the steps). About 30 feet from the bench, on your right, you will see a log following the edge of the trail. Step over it and walk toward the big pile of logs. Buried within you might find what you are seeking!

If you choose answer B follow these directions:
N41 6.827 W082 3.298
Continue down the trail following along the creek.
You will be passing through a stand of Pawpaw trees.
Look for a face about 20 feet off the trail to your left. He might be guarding what you are looking for!
There is a fallen log behind him. Check the east end of the log (about 20 feet away from the face).

Once you have collected your Passport code word and Bonus Cache clue, continue to follow the path and you will loop back to the parking lot.
All containers are located within 30 feet of the trail. Use stealth while searching and re-hide the containers so that they cannot be seen to avoid potential vandalism. Park closes at dark.
