The First 19th Hole
After walking through the Duval Trail came to the popular establishment near here to refuel and recharge. The hike through the Duval Trail was beautiful and one of my favorite places to hike in Rhode Island. I highly recommend it. Also, while in the Duval Trail be sure to check out the cache "Pirate Mercy Merriweather Hid Her Treasure" GCB5DAG as this is the hide I did before coming here to recharge, (Sorry you will never get to experience this very thoroughly thought out cache as I cannot get it published even with the other active caches along the trail). While eating saw there was a perfect distance from the closest cache to here to place this one so here is an easy park and grab for you to bump up your numbers while on your way to the Duval Trail.
As a new discoverer of geocaching I have been very excited to start hiding my own caches but his is the last geocache I will hide as it is too much of a hassle to track down a good hide and find the right person to ask permission from as I am not one to just throw out random hides in guardrails and light posts even though you now have to have written permission to get these published as well. Guess that is why here it is spring and beginning of summer and how many new caches are being published in Rhode Island?
Check out the other hides I have done before the lock down:
