Prior intrigue: Decimal Places Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

1101010: Went for a hike this afternoon and i'm pretty sure the cache has been buried by the Wildlife Resource Commission or Corps of Engineers expanding the nearby field. The embankment between field and woods (against which the cache was hidden) is now only a few feet from the tree, where is was many yards away before. So the cache is probably there somewhere underground but not worth trying to dig for.

For those who were "intrigued" by the puzzle, here are my notes from the final waypoint:

Collecting/translating the codes from the other caches yields:
9 4 10 32 15 18 2
13 26 8 29 37 34 6

This can be translated to coordinates by taking each number above as a position after the decimal place in Pi (get it, *P*rior i*ntrigue?). E.g. 9 = 3 because 14159265*3.

Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. The real coordinates can be obtained by gathering information from each of my 3 prior caches and then solving the resulting numeric puzzle.

This cache is for everyone who found one (or more) of my 3 prior caches and wondered "what the heck are those symbols on top?" Each cache has 3 symbols. Each of these symbols corresponds to a digit. The digits for each cache are based on the decimal places of its coordinates as follows:

The 10th digit does not appear on a cache, but will be obvious by process of elimination once you find the first 9.

Once you have gathered the key from the prior caches, you will be able to decipher the symbols below into a set of numbers. These represent the cache coordinates, but have been encoded in a way which you will have to figure out.

If you gather all of the keys and are unable to solve the puzzle, please post a DNF. For every few DNFs of this sort i will post a hint. If you don't like frownies, use the "contact" link above and i'll email you a hint.

Here are the encoded coordinates:

Once you obtain the coordinates, the cache will be a short bushwhack from a decent trail (if you can't get closer than 150ft on a trail, try a different trail) in NC Gamelands. After doing my other caches you should be familiar with the relevant warnings for gamelands access. The bushwhack goes through some poison ivy and briars, not thick enough for a machete, but after doing it in shorts, i recommend wearing long pants.

Container: The initial paint can rusted, and has been replaced by a painted plastic pretzel tub which should be watertight as long as the lid is screwed on tight. Nevertheless, please ensure that everything inside the cache is also inside a ziploc bag. Any finders who feel cheated out of seeing the original paint scheme need only mention that in their online cache log and i will send a link to a picture.

Parking: 3455 ft, 244 degrees true from decoded coordinates (this site can help calculate if you have no other way)

note:This cache is inextricably linked with the 1101010's Extra Mile #2 travel bug. Now that someone has found the bug, it might not be checked into this cache. This should not deter you from looking for it, if you are so inclined. If you've found the Extra Mile #1, this one is more "virtual" than that one. Some brain work may be in order, but no additional bushwhacking.
