The Cache Across America Series: This is a series of caches that will take you on a caching tour of the entire United States. One cache is hidden in each of the 50 states. These caches each contain a numeric clue that will lead you to one final cache located in our nation's capital upon completion of the series.

About this cache:This cache series is all about discovery. That was reason enough to select Seattle's Discovery Park as the cache site for Washington's entry into the Cache Across America series. Seattle is also a gateway to the Pacific, thus a beach hide seemed also appropriate. Finally, this is my family's favorite beach in the city so we are motivated to properly maintain this cache. The cache is a large ammo can. It is available at all water levels but is somewhat easier to access at lower than high tide since the beach walk is simpler than the driftwood scramble. Please re-hide at least as well as you found it.
