Nach Irland / Donegal / Slieve League Klippen & Kreuzstein an der Ruine der Kapelle
To Ireland / Donegal / Slieve League Cliffs & cross-stone at the ruins of the chapel
The cliffs of Slieve League (Irish: Sliabh Liag) in the west of Ireland's county Donegal on the Atlantic Ocean are one of the main attractions of this region. The cliffs sloping steeply into the sea belong to the highest cliffs in Europe with a height of 601 meters.
On the top of the cliff, sheltered by a semicircular stone wall, there is a dilapidated beehive hut as well as the ruin of a chapel. This is the hermitage of Saint Aed. Away from the wall, a sacred spring is situated beneath a cairn around a cross-stone.
Please bring me to this cross-stone.
My owner would be very grateful for photos of my trip. And when I arrive the cliffs & the cross-stone, my owner wants a photo with me in the picture.
Then I would like to go back to Remscheid / NRW / Germany to tell my owner about my trip.
