Goodbye Brentford and Signal, it’s time to let you go. You are back in Sydney and I’ve dropped you off in the Chinese Friendship Garden. Australia (and New Zealand) recently hosted the Women’s Football World Cup and the final was held in Sydney. It’s Earthcache Day so I’m hunting for one of those before heading to dinner at Potts Point. Good luck. 🌏

You have headed about an hour west of Sydney to Katoomba in the Blue Mountains National Park. Its a super spectacular spot and is a UNESCO World Heritage listed area. I’ve hiked and gone canyoneering many times around here in the past and have watched Mr Wombat rock climb on the Three Sisters rock formation before that was banned. The sisters’ names are Meehni (922 m), Wimlah (918 m), and Gunnedoo (906 m) but we now know that the “Dreamtime” story about the sisters was made up by a Caucasian girl and is not a story from the Gundungurra people who inhabited the area for thousands of years. 👩‍👧‍👧
