Current Goal

This is number seven in my hobby bug series. Each travel bug stands for one of my hobbies and has a related quest. In addition they all want to meet up with their siblings again to share some time in a friendly cache and exchange travel stories before setting off on their journey again. A picture of such a meeting would be very much appreciated. Other than that the hobby bugs would like to travel freely and meet people from different countries and nationalities.

It all started when I realised that pound coins look different every year and then tried to get a complete set. In addition I now collect euro coins, state quarters and generally odd leftover change from foreign travel. I stick the coins onto the mantelpiece of an unused heater where they make a good conversation topic.

If you collect anything (coins, stamps etc.) as a hobby, please tell me about it in the log.

Got this today from Schneggenudel. Nice Place! I put two more coins on the chain, who like to travel with your friends and maybe sometimes meet you and your heater. Hope you don't mind. It's 10 Lira from Arabia and 25 Centimes from Belgium that my grandpa gave to me last time I visited him.
Concerning your question about collecting: I collect also coins from countries I visited and my mom collects the Euros series. So as you can see my family is also into coins as you.
