Sammy the Salmon

“Sammy the Salmon” has made his long journey up the river only to find the spawning grounds full. He has decided to take a vacation and visit other species around the country or world to see how their lifestyles are. Please help him find other locations that are preferably near the water (if even for a short time) and be sure to let us know what kinds of “fishy friends” he encounters along the way. Also upload any photos that you would like to.

I found this at a yard sale today in Valdosta, Georgia. The owner had died and the children were having a yard sale. Not sure who he was because this was his secret hobby so no one knew much. I just happen to be going to the beach tomorrow so I'll make sure the fish gets on his way.

Sorry for having Sammy for so long. Kept thinking I would get to a cache near a nice stream. Finally got to take him trout fishing on Smith Creek in Unicoi State Park before dropping him off.

Dropped Sammy off at Dick's creek where he could be the BIG fish in the small stream. Forgot to take a picture, but he looked pretty happy to be there.

Picked up Sammy by the falls. Sammy could certainly do some serious up stream jumping here. I have a few ideas where to place Sammy next, so it may be a couple weeks before he settles into a new home.
