About This Item

Groundspeak Volunteer Geocoin 2008

This geocoin was a gift to Chuck Walla from Groundspeak for Chuck’s volunteer services as a geocache reviewer for Geocaching.com. In turn, Chuck decided to donate the coin to the "Clarksville or Cacheville, You Be The Judge 2008" event (GC18V86) as a door prize, to thank the geocachers of Arkansas for their contributions to the growth and success of this game, as cache hiders and seekers.

This was one of the most unique cache hides I have ever seen. Got a chance to look around a little here and soak up some History. What a nice and well kept place. Thank you for the visit and bringing me to this historic place.
Thanks for the cache.

This was my first parkcache of the day and the new roads into the park messed with my maps on my gps. After a short hike I was at ground zero and began my search. It was not to long until the prize was in hand. What a lovely area, and everything looks so nice.
Thanks for the cache and bringing me to experience this wonderful place.

I lolygaged around today and it was dark when I arrived at this cache. I was here so I went for it anyway. upon starting I noticed that my flashlight was dim, batteries going dead. So grabbed my second flashlight and started that way and it blinked, bateries going down on this one too. Grabbed some extra bateries and away I went. Found the cache without to much trouble and when I went to put it back I dropped my flashlight and it went off! It sure was dark, so I got down on my hands and knees and searched for it. I now know what it is like to loose your glasses and have to search for them. Luicky for me I found it and I was able to walk out without any more trouble.
Thanks for the cache and the adventure.

What a View!
I don't know which I like more the drive up to the park or the veiw from the park? Both were excellent. It took me some searching for me to find the cache and the coords were dead on. Nice view from the cache and well worth the trip. Just another amazing place in Arkansas and the funny thing is they have state parks around them.
Thanks for the cache and I will have to revist this place on a much prettier day.
