    #34 BS to OW: So I drove 1.5 hours to come out here to explore the sculptures and get some photographs and some caches but discover once I got here the sculptures were all closed. Thankfully, there were other caches to find. Like this one.

    Welcome to BS (Borrego Springs): Got up at 5am and drove to BS to get some nice pictures of the sculptures before the mercury hit triple digits. Got here just as the sun was rising and it was a cool 81 degrees. Made the find fairly easily. Added my signature and a penguin.

    1. COVID-19 in 4S Ranch: Seeing u-DNA yesterday inspired me to grab another of these today for my COTD. It wasn’t hot yet, so that was good. When I approached GZ, I could see the cache from the trail as it wasn’t covered. Tucked it back in after I was done.

    September: Quick midday break. Saw this cache closeby 30 minutes after it was published so I decided to go for it and try to be first to find. When I arrived, there were no logs online. As I approached I found “Let’s Look Over Thayer” and “uitgeslapen_DNA” with her brood signing the log. Turns out Renéecache and HVYripper were already there and gone. Looks like I was FTF ( in this case 5th to find-well technically I guess I was really #8)

    Horse Pile: Found the cache but as others said, it’s in very bad shape. The lid is broken beyond compare and even the swag inside has seen much better days. Replaced with an M&M tube added a baggie for the log.
