This bug is the key to The Monarchy geocache. You must retrieve it and take it with you to locate The Monarchy. It should then be placed in another geocache in the Santa Barbara vicinity.

About This Item

This bug doesn't really travel very far. Snag it to find The Monarchy and then place it in another cache within 20 miles or so of Santa Barbara. Please don't leave the bug in The Monarchy cache itself. Full details at:

    I looked at The Monarchy the last time I was in Santa Barbara a year and a half ago (since one of our goals was to see the butterflies), but the Key was in someone's hands during our day trip. Everything came together today, and we picked this up from Lemon(d) Line, headed straight to The Monarchy, and dropped it off again at a close, easy cache, before heading straight back to LA.
