About This Item

Engine No.1 is a 750 gallon per minute pumper, which was built in Middleboro, Massachusetts by the Maxim Motor Company. The Washington Volunteer Fire Department took delivery of the truck in December 1936. It was in front line service from 1936 until 1978, and is now used for parades and fire department events.
