About This Item

My 1000 find was El Diablo GC1251Y. It was a very well done cache on an abandoned railroad bridge. If the cache is ever archived, I'll add more to this description. A special thanks to H2Guy for placing El Diablo, and then for giving me this coin to celebrate the event.

An unused street has reflectors downt he middle of it. One of the reflectors is loose. The bottom has been hollowed slightly as has the street. Magnets where cemented to the street and to the reflector. A nano sits in the hollowed out spot. The magnets on the reflector hold it in place with the street.

GZ is a 200 yr old oak with a sign nearby. A black rail fence circles the tree. The cache is a black strip of magnetic sheet. It blends with the black rail. You peel it off and sign the other side.

What a great cache. It's an antique fire hydrant. You have to take off a real valve to get to it. Very nice!

The hiding style was like the first generation of Black-chinned Hummingbird. The metal stake was retained and pushed into the ground. Three were placed instead of one. Nice cactus!

Infamous cache in Bonham. A boat anchor has been attached to a thermos. The anchor pulls the thermos to the bottom of the lake and just sits there upright. You find it by walking in chest high lake water until you run into it.
