This coin will stay in my possession and be logged in clever hides that I really enjoy.
My 1000 find was El Diablo GC1251Y. It was a very well done cache on an abandoned railroad bridge. If the cache is ever archived, I'll add more to this description. A special thanks to H2Guy for placing El Diablo, and then for giving me this coin to celebrate the event.
Great cemetery cache. The crape myrtle tree has a dead branch that comes out of a hole in one of the larger trucks. The bottom of the brach is hollowed out with a pill bottle in it. Very nicely done!
This cache is a simple Altoid round tin attached to a green electrical box. What makes is nice is that a red reflector has been added to the top. It make it look like it fits since it is right at the corner of a small street.
There is a wood sign at the beginning of the trail in the parking lot. The bolts holding it together have been counter sunk with wood plugs covering the holes. A plug has be cut and hollowed for a small vial. Well done.
Magnetic plasitic soda lid. It was fashioned to look like knob on the panel next to the door of an empty building.
A telephone pole hide like Witcha Lineman. Instead of a nail cover, there is a nail bent down holding the plate in place. The tube with the log is behind the plate.
