This coin will stay in my possession and be logged in clever hides that I really enjoy.
My 1000 find was El Diablo GC1251Y. It was a very well done cache on an abandoned railroad bridge. If the cache is ever archived, I'll add more to this description. A special thanks to H2Guy for placing El Diablo, and then for giving me this coin to celebrate the event.
The cache is a rounded metal pipe cap. It has rusted to fit the metal gate it is attached to. There is a magnet glued to the metal gate. The metal cap sticks to the magnet.

Logging miles to the NE.
A similar hide to Cone Fishing. Thin invisible green fishing line following a series of eye-hooks up about 15ft.
The cache site is an array of realistic looking bones including a pelvic set. It lays right out in the open, but it is very secluded with zillions of pine trees everywhere. Cache is a bison attached to one of the bones laying around.
