(6100) Our 5th MWGB. We took a day trip for this one today and had a blast. We spent some time in Spangler, tried to spend money at the silent auction, but failed to win anything. Traded pathtags. Got some caching done but best of all we got to spend a little time with old friends. With it being a quick visit and needing to be back home by 7pm we didn't get to see as many people as we'd hoped and we came home with over half our 'bash tags left but we had a great time.

We had lunch at the grounds and it was good but took FOREVER to get. We visited the Travel Bug Barn and traded bugs ... there were actually some in the containers this year ... YAY! We grabbed a bunch of caches and even more Munzees (thanks to everyone who took time to place these for us to find). We had to miss out on the Area 51 party this year ... but there's always next year or the year after or the year after that!

Thanks for the last 10 years MWGB and here's to 10 more!

(6085) We were in town as JeePS(her) needed to visit the office in Des Moines. It so happened that when we were talking to our friends the 3 Elves about possibly having an event while we were in the area, they mentioned that Honey Creek was going to be the scene of some events at the end of the week, so, we rearranged our plans so that we could spend the weekend here. We came in on Thursday evening and left Saturday after lunch so that we could get home to Michigan at a decent hour, just before leaving we nipped in the door and signed the log for this event

It was fantastic getting to see all of our geocaching family and friends.

JeePS(her) played in the table tennis tournament and came away with 3rd prize ... woohoo. We REALLY enjoyed the fact that the hosts of this event provided childcare and whisked the little ones away for an evening of fun. TFTE.

(6079) We are finally getting caught up on the few caches we found toward the end of last year. We didn't want to miss this event so after work we loaded Lil' JeePSr and Mini JeePSr in the car and headed over. It was nice to meet some local cachers. Thanks for the event.
