(5858) We are blaming JeePS(him) for us not winning one of the door prizes! But that's okay. It was nice, slow paced ending to a long weekend of caching. We were glad Angel Girl was around to help keep Lil' JeePSr occupied, they sure do have a lot of fun together. Although we were staying one more day and would do a little more caching it was nice to get everyone together one last time before the weekend wound down. Thanks for hosting the event.

(5838) What a great evening for this event. The weather was fantastic and was only topped by the company. We missed the fires, but the location worked out well. Hard to believe how far this event has come in 5 years from the first year when it wasn't an official event to this! Lil' JeePSr had a great time running around with Angel Girl and we had a great time catching up with friends. It was nice to see a few familiar faces that we haven't seen in a long time and to meet some new people. Big thanks to Finch Farmers for this event as well as the whole weekend. Our understanding is that Wapello 5.0 may not have happened if not for a little persuasion on your part.

(5827) We attened this event cache with our friends the 3 Elves. Thanks for contibuting to keeping the park clean and showing what a large group of geocachers can accomplish in short amount of time. For the most part this park is kept pretty neat and tidy, but there were a few areas that needed some tlc.

(5783) The fifth annual Southeast Iowa October Cache Fest and our 5th time attending. This is our favorite annual event and we look forward to it all year, every year. I believe a big thank you goes out to Randy of Finch Farmers this year for making sure that the tradition continued.This is by far the best social event that there is. We love coming here and seeing all of our geocaching friends. Lil' JeePSr had a blast this year and didn't even go to the playground!!! She loved seeing everyone, finding treasure and 'camping'! Once again the weather didn't disappoint and sun screen was on the menu. To everyone from WACkOSAGO who as always put a lot of time, effort and hard work into the weekend. We didn't think that we'd cached that much, turns out we got over 100 finds! That's what happens when everywhere you look you see another container . This year we added another day to our stay and so had a mini family vacation in addition to all of the geocaching fun. As always we took video of the festivities and will be posting that soon, so keep an eye out.

(5777) What a fun event. This was a great idea for an event, it's a pity that the attendees, for the most part were able to outsmart the monkey. Great kick off to a fun weekend in Southeast Iowa.

(5741) I [JeePS(him)] had been in Detroit for work all week so when it was time to head for home I decided to take a little detour and stop by the Bash. I didn't get to the fairgrounds until just after 7:00 pm so I didn't expect there to be much going on. But I still got a chance to see a good number of our geocaching/pathtag friends. I was surprised when the first familiar faces I saw were that of Mr. and Mrs. Digger9. We talked for a while then Jellyfish arrived in his golfcart in the middle of making an ice run. I decided to get a few Munzees before hitting the road for home and after a few finds met up with some folks from Canada that were hunting QR codes too but had their data turned off on their phone so the three of us wandered around and made a bunch of captures before I stopped by the F.O.A. campsite. I chatted for a bit and was able to see some more friends and put faces with some other recognizable names. After meeting the GVSU4MSU family it was time for me to hit the road. As is usually the case with these kind of outdoor activities I got sidetracked collecting more munzees and didn't get on the road west until after dark. I had a great time for the short time I was there and wish the rest of the JeePSer family had been along and we were able to stay the whole weekend. Hope everyone attending has a safe and happy Bash!

(5729) We were so pleased to be able to make this event in honor of our friends cjandbjjones. (Amazing what the simple exchange of a pathtag can do!) Big congratulations to Brenda and Curt. You deserve this and more for all you have done and will continue to do for the Iowa geocaching community. Thanks for all of the memories that you have helped create for us (and others). We had a nice time chatting with friends and it was nice to be able to let Lil' JeePSr free to run around a bit when she was done eating.

(5592) Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Rayyyyyy-vennnnnnn Happy birthday to you! We hope that you had a wonderful day! It's been great watching you grow up over the years and we were happy that we could share this day with you. The weather was great as was the location. Lil' JeePSr loved the play ground and the kid's caches. She met a new friend in db_Oracle's son. It was great to finally meet Linda Rose and nancylmo. They own some of our favorite caches - the Art A la Newton series and the Walking Tour of Newton which we did 5 days before Lil' JeePSr was born (she's 3 now) The company was wonderful and the food was great. After the event we made a spur of the moment decision, when Lil' JeePSr fell asleep almost immediately in the car and we found all 22 of the Tribute Roads to Cachers - we'll need some help with some of the names but we're pretty sure we found ourselves
