Visited 9/22/2019 busternfruss took it to A Family Placed Cache #4 Maine - .7 miles  Visit Log

Second Freeport cache, after two DNFs. Quick cache on our way out of town heading to Bar Harbor. Freeport is a beautiful little town. We even got invited to church this morning!

Visited 9/21/2019 busternfruss took it to The Iconic Boot Virtual Reward Maine - 3,557.87 miles  Visit Log

Visiting my first Maine cache at the big LLB boot in Freeport, the evening Amanda and I arrived. Bought some fancy boot laces for my Bean boots (and the granddaughters') here the next day.

Just realized this coin would rack up a lot more miles if I'd let it return home between trips, but I didn't do that. Heading a little further north the next day. Off to a great start!

Visited 8/8/2019 busternfruss took it to National Monuments - Virtual Reward New York - 4.59 miles  Visit Log

Nice virtual cache in view of the Statue of Liberty and near St. Paul's Chapel, WTC, and the Bull. Also enjoyed seeing a beautiful memorial to military service members of the different branches nearby. Our second visit to this area in two days; got drenched in a thunderstorm yesterday. Brief, busy, fun trip with Amanda to NYC!

Quick find thanks to excellent hints in a quiet little half-avenue right next to our Hilton hotel. Found with Amanda on our first afternoon in NYC. We also went inside Tiffany's and Trump Tower (MAGA!), and did lots of walking including to a nice Italian restaurant close by for dinner.

Found this virtual cache at a historic place with Brenda while walking around the French Quarter on my 72nd birthday. (How am I possibly that old??) It's the only still-active cache I hadn't found in the FQ, except for a puzzle cache. Very pretty statue there. Fun trip; blessed that I am still able to travel and walk all around!

#757 (owner for some reason wouldn't let me claim the Frankfurt cache, although others have who didn't get any closer to it). GC still gave me the Germany souvenir, though, LOL. Win some, lose some.

Wonder if I can possibly get to #1000 before I kick the bucket...
Will have to get busier caching than I've been in quite a while to do it.

Visited 2/6/2019 busternfruss took it to RWY 42 Hessen, Germany - 1,834.31 miles  Visit Log

Hoping to get this virtual cache in the Frankfurt airport at gate A42, but security has caused problems both times. Going to TLV, we were not allowed to leave the C13 (Tel Aviv) gate at all. On the return, we had a Z gate and I was confident I could get to A42, but then my passport was randomly chosen for special and very slow security in another part of the airport. I barely made it to my gate in time to board. The CO is lenient with others, though, and hopefully will be with me as I posted the best photos I could. The other time I visited Germany, geocaching had not been invented yet so this will most likely be my only find in Germany. #757, on my way home!

Visited 2/6/2019 busternfruss took it to TLV Duty Free cache Israel - 66.63 miles  Visit Log

New caching convert/roommate Lisa and I had about given up on finding a second cache in Israel when we decided to check if there might be one in the Tel Aviv airport, and we were only about 100 feet away. It was in the second store we looked and the employees helped us find it quickly near their cash register. What a truly amazing trip this has been!

Visited 1/30/2019 busternfruss took it to Tiberia's Promenade Israel - 6,164.55 miles  Visit Log

Wow, a cache beside the Sea of Galilee! Found with Leanne, Paul, and new friend Lisa close to our hotel while in Tiberias on our visit to Israel. How blessed to visit some of the places where Jesus lived and taught, and learn more about the Bible and Israel. Not much time to look for caches but managed to find two in Israel. #755

My first and probably only find in Kentucky, fortunately found at our hotel during breakfast on a YAH trip to visit The Ark. We were very, very close to Ohio and Indiana later at the museum, but no time or reason to cross the state lines. Fun trip with good friends.
Six years Mel, miss you and Buster.

Visited 8/9/2018 busternfruss took it to AERIAL RECONNAISSANCE Georgia - 568.22 miles  Visit Log

I enjoyed my visit to the Air Force Aviation Museum at Robins AFB with the YAH today. Got to see a Blackbird and get a virtual cache. We spent a few hours here and could have spent more, great museum honoring some very brave airmen and some amazing machines. God bless our military.
