It's always nice to find an ammo box in the woods!

Quick find in a well-selected location.

For some reason, I thought I was looking for an ammo box so it took me a few minutes to spot this one in its hidey hole.

I signed the log and left some waterproof swag.

I thought I'd logged a DNF here this winter, but now that I've revisited the park, I remember that it was a hot and humid hike around the lake the last times I was here.

Today I started out looking in the same places I hadn't found it 8 months ago and then expanded my search and made a quick find in an obvious location. Sometimes I make things too hard by half.

Visited 4/16/2024 Waterbaron took it to Twin City, Because It Needs A Cache Georgia - 27.39 miles  Visit Log

As I've often logged when I find one of these, "Someday, there will be one of these in every parking lot in America."

    Quick find.

Visited 4/12/2024 Waterbaron took it to Forrest Medusa Georgia - .13 miles  Visit Log

Very wet this afternoon after the heavy rains this morning.

I thought I saw it in an area that would have required waders, but when I turned around to leave, I spotted it behind me.

Visited 4/12/2024 Waterbaron took it to The Pit and The Pendulum Georgia - 94.45 miles  Visit Log

Came down to look at some equipment at the Kingsland WWTP and had time for a couple of caches in this nice park.

I quickly spotted the pit but until I looked on the ground, I didn't see the pendulum.

I returned it to a location that fit the hint.

Visited 4/11/2024 Waterbaron took it to "We'll leave the light on for you!" Georgia - .16 miles  Visit Log

Had to come back for this one and this time I parked at the closest parking spot.

Bright idea, but I managed to drop the log and the tiny swag I'd planned to leave disappeared.

Visited 4/10/2024 Waterbaron took it to Who is this comic book villain? Georgia - 4.29 miles  Visit Log

After finishing a project in Yemassee and another on Hilton Head, I had to come over to Savannah for a parts-run and still had time for a Geocache or two.

Six miles yesterday and another three today were more than enough so I only did one of the two. I'll take a rain-day tomorrow to finish my taxes and recuperate.

Can't answer the question. I gave up comic books in Junior High when the entire inventory of my booming business was confiscated by the principal just a month after he confiscated my inventory of penny candy. (This may be the reason I've always distrusted arbitrary authority and in real life, sell my skills and knowledge rather than items that can be stolen from me. I'd been ploughing my profits back into inventory, so after the second confiscation, I was decapitalized.)
