Charlie the Beach Comber

My name is Charlie the Beach Comber. I’m now headed home to West Newbury, Massachusetts. Please don’t pick me up if you can’t move me along in the next few weeks. I left home in October of 2002 to visit the beaches of Florida. My goal was to collect a sample of sand from a sunny Florida Beach. Thanks to some great geocachers I’ve now achieved this goal and am now headed home. Please don’t lose the sand from my pack, and get me home soon. Thanks for helping me on my way!

While visiting Tazan's Treasure, I was surrounded by walkers and joggers and bikers of all sorts and sizes. This fitness trail is very popular here. My current escort has told me that I will be staying in a travel bug hotel tomorrow on Interstate 275. My hope is that a northbound traveler will pick me up and deliver me closer to home. For now I'm still on the road. Where will I end up next. Oh the places I've been and the people I've met.

Charlie is still in the Fairbanks Travel Bug Drop Box. Had read that he was trying to make it back East, so the Ladybug Kids opted to leave him close to the airport to hitch a ride Outside with one of the many "migrants" following the birds south as the colors change and the temperatures drop.

Found this cache in good condition. Accessed it from the wrong direction, good think I have a long reach!
Took the TB and left a different TB (the Venecian) since I was not going to make it to any casinos up north!
