About This Item

KSWader Personal Geocoin

This is the very first KSWader Geocoin.

One side of the coin features Kansas with a tornado. The outside of the coin says "The Sunflower State, Land of OZ, Tornado alley, Geographic Center of the Continental USA and Home to the World's Oldest Geocache!" The oldest geocache in existance is in Mingo which is featured on the state with a star and the name.

The reverse of the coin featues the Wizard of OZ characters from the L. Frank Baum books and the early book illustrations of Denslow and Neill. The characters featured are Dorothy, Toto, the Tin Woodman, Cowardly Lion and the Scarecrow on the yellow brick road. The outside of the coin says "Don't cry Cowardly Lion. We will find the geocache yet!" said Dorothy. The bottom of the coin says KSWader - Caching since January 10, 2004.
