This is a pinewood derby car built by Brian Johnson a Scouter from Troop 996 in the Los Angeles Area Council's Pacifica District.

This bug made its' way to the 2017 National Jamboree. Transported by the owners brother who gave it to me. I took it to the Geocaching Event Tent for some photos shown here. I then returned it to the owners brother so it could be transported home.

The LAAC Pinewood Derby car has now officially completed its mission. It traveled to the BSA National Jamboree in Fort A.P. Hill Virginia and has traveled back to Los Angeles. We plan to put it on display at the Chusman Watts LAAC headquarters.

I have been working at the Geocaching booth at the Jamboree for the past 10 days and have been looking at this cool car. Conveniently, I go to school in Claremont, so I will bring this back with me in a few weeks. In the meantime, I'll take him around the country. Thanks for sharing!
