    Today I went hiking with a cacher from Las Vegas, weeds19. We had to go around this dry waterfall, then went up to a canyon to a second waterfall before we left the canyon and climbed to the cache. We went back down a different canyon, which we were lucky to find had no waterfalls to pass.

    I camped out Friday night in a campground on the banks of the Colorado River, just across from the Nevada city of Laughlin. Here's a view of one of the casinos at night and some more flowers we found while benchmarking with the crew on Saturday.

    Today we climbed Chemehuevis Peak in search of a 100 year old benchmark. Along the way I saw some different wildflowers than we normally see in Arizona.

    I saw a few different flowers today, but things are starting to dry out and some of the small plants have started to die.
